Identification of Regional Influencers

Regional Influencers are regional or local physicians within each country who influence the attitudes, perceptions and prescribing behaviour of your target physicians; those individuals with whom your target audience consult, seek advice on new therapies, refer their difficult cases to and generally regard as mentors. Maximising the value of Regional Influencers is essential to the success of your product.

It is critical to enlist the support of Regional Influencers for developing product advocates, accelerating the uptake of your product or for participation in medical education programs.

Our highly customised REIN™ approach begins with the identification of those individuals (target group of healthcare professionals) with the greatest potential to prescribe/recommend your product. This is the universe we then approach, using our peer-group nomination process, to identify who is influencing them in their activities. Following identification, a Regional Influencer can then be profiled and segmented using our PRO-SEG™ approach.

The final REIN™ deliverables are available on a customised interactive website where information is accessed via an easy-to-search, full-colour map of the client's geographical or sales regions within each country. This interface provides a geographical representation of the regional and local-level distribution of both influencers and the surveyed physicians (nominators) which gives a clear indication of the sphere of influence of each influencer. The individual regional influencer profiles contain:

  • Full contact details for each Influencer which have been personally verified with the physician's office
  • The number of nominations received
  • The location and contact details of nominating physicians - sphere of influence
  • A listing of the sources of information through which nominating physicians are influenced
  • Publication history (where available)
  • Answers to profiling questions if an influencer has participated in PRO-SEG™

An overall summary of influencers ranked by the number of nominations received is also provided. This highlights an influencer's relative importance within the client's geographical or sales region in which they are practising.
