Visible Influencers are key individuals who may not necessarily be considered a Key Opinion Leader (identified through OPEX™) or a Regional Influencer (identified through REIN™) or even be in clinical practice but have significant visibility and influence in a particular disease or therapy area.

The objective of the VIZ-INDEX™ methodology is to locate and identify Visible Influencers in any subject area and in any country, enabling a more complete picture of the spectrum of Key Influencers in any particular disease area.

Our VIZ-INDEX™ approach allows identification of the most Visible Influencers within a particular disease or therapy area according to visibility indices defined by the specific needs of our clients. These may include:-

  • Experience at national or international congresses, conferences and symposia (speaker, chair, co-chair)
  • Board membership of national or international associations and societies
  • International, national or governmental body affiliation
  • Editorial board membership for key publications
  • Involvement in Guideline development or Guideline Committee Membership
  • Clinical trial involvement or Steering Committee Membership
  • Affiliation with clinical or research Centre of Excellence
  • Authorship profile

Our VIZ-INDEX™ approach involves extensive secondary research; in this way we identify those individuals with purely Visible Influence. The individuals identified during a VIZ-INDEX™ study can be further profiled and segmented using our PRO-SEG™ approach.

A VIZ-INDEX™ study leads, ultimately, to the systematic production of objective information about Visible Influencers in a user-friendly, searchable electronic format, allowing additional analysis and interpretation to be performed according to the clients specific interests. The deliverable can be provided in an Excel spreadsheet or in a dynamic web-based format which allows unlimited multi-user international access.

Using our VIZ-INDEX™ methodology we can also rank the Visible Influencers on the basis of their overall visibility, as defined by our clients definition of the visibility indices of most importance.
